چکیده
Objectives Frailty is a common problem in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). It considered to be associated inflammation. Novel markers derived from hemogram, such as neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and mean platelet volume/lymphocyte (MPVLR), are proposed inflammatory markers. In present study, we aimed compare NLR MPVLR levels of frail T2DM non?frail diabetic subjects. Methods Diabetic subjects were grouped non-frail groups according the Edmonton Frail Scale. General characteristics laboratory data compared. Results The (3.9 [1.4-13.2] %) group was significantly higher than that (3.4 [1.5-6.9] (p = 0.02). positively correlated Scale score (r 0.21, p 0.03). A level greater 3.41 % has 71 sensitivity 51 specifity predicting frailty. Conclusion We suggest elevated could finding marks frailty Inexpensive easy?to?assess nature may useful population (Tab. 2, Fig. 1, Ref. 32).

متن کاملMean platelet volume/platelet count ratio is associated with prognosis in patients with pancreatic cancer
An increased mean platelet volume (MPV) is recognized as an early marker of platelet activation. The diagnostic and prognostic impact of the MPV and MPV/platelet count (PC) ratio in some cancers has recently been reported. The aim of this study was to evaluate the prognostic significance of preoperative MPV/PC ratio in pancreatic cancer. A total of 124 pancreatic cancer patients were included i...
